How They Met:

Kira and Robert met in high school in 2001.  They were both working on the set of their high school's drama club production of the musical "Working".  They began dating on February 22, 2002 and stayed together throughout the rest of their time in high school.

When Kira graduated, they moved to New York City together to pursue their dreams.  In New York City, they adopted rescue dog, named Charlotte, and have been living there with Charlotte since 2005.

They love to travel, cook, spend time with family, watch funny movies, but whatever they do they always do it together.  After 7 years of being nearly inseparable, they have become each others best friends and truly prove that soul mates exist.

Fun Facts:

Robert originally asked Kira out on Valentines Day in 2002, after a couple months of friendship.   Kira said "no" because she was coming out of a relationship and wasn't ready to rush into another one.   A week later, after regretting her decision, she asked him to ask her again.

Their first date was in March 1st, 2002.  They had dinner at The Macaroni Grill by Menlo Park Mall followed by a movie, 40 Days & 40 Nights.

Above is the very fist photograph taken of Kira and Rob in March 2002 during their drama production in 2002.  She was 14, he was 15.

Once married, Kira's last name will be Solomon.  There are a chain of islands in the South Pacific, called the Solomon Islands and a city within those chain of islands called "Kira Kira".  It's kind of funny since she is a travel agent.   Don't believe it?  Check it out for yourself.

Before Robert met Kira, he always liked the name Cyrus and wanted to give that name to his future son. While looking up it's meaning online, Kira found out that Cyrus is the male form of her name.  All this time Robert loved the name, and it was ironically her name.
